Lyeth Estate

Jean-Claude Boisset
In 1961, a tenacious eighteen-year-old, Jean-Claude Boisset founded his namesake négociant winery in Nuits-St.-Georges. An artisan Burgundy producer with an audacious, authentic style, the winery is housed in a former Ursulines convent where Winemaker Grégory Patriat strives for authentic wines in which human intervention has been kept to a bare, discreet minimum.
Louis Bernard
Maison Louis Bernard, today headquartered in Gigondas, was founded in 1976 in the heart of the Southern Rhône Valley. From Châteauneuf-du-Pape to Gigondas and estate-grown Côtes du Rhône from select Domaine partners, the winery offers a well-defined house style: fruity and concentrated, supple and well-rounded. LX Cuvée Rare
For years the 60/60 ratio cut was considered the ideal proportions to reveal the true radiance of a diamond. The LX – 60 in roman numerals – Rosé is an homage to the perfect balance of climate grape varietals and soil found in Bandol to create the most luminescent Rosé.
Mommessin
Founded in 1865, Mommessin has been bringing the world excellent wines from Beaujolais and Burgundy since it began exporting in 1890. Through our own properties as well as long-term contracts with growers, some over 100 years old, we are able to consistently bring you exceptional wines of quality. The story behind the key: in 1889, Mommessin acquired La Grange Saint-Pierre, several ancient stone buildings in Mâcon that originally belonged to the Abbey of Cluny. The abbey’s emblem, the Key of Saint Peter, became an enduring symbol at the Mommessin winery, one that can be seen today on all our Mommessin wines.

Ropiteau Frères
In 1848, France was undergoing a revolution. The provinces, less affected than Paris, became a melting pot where people came together to build a modern world in peace and fraternity. In the same year, the railroad also came to Burgundy. Jean Ropiteau was 24 years old at this time. A grape grower and cooper from Monthélie, this young man, whose Burgundian roots date back to the 16th century, very quickly foresaw the railroad as a way of promoting the wines of his birthplace, so near and dear to his heart. He founded a trading company with his brothers-in-law, the start of an unceasing and undeniable success.
