Our Wines

  • The selected plots of vines spread over slopes and plateaux of the commune of Montmelas, Saint-Etienne la Varenne, Lantignié and Blacé in Beaujolais.
  • Domaine de Champ de Cour comes from one of the top 10 crus of Beaujolais within the appellation of Moulin-à-Vent, located in the northern part of Beaujolais. Moulin-à-Vent- produces strong, full-bodied wines that age very well for three to five years, sometimes longer.
  • Domaine de la Presle is located on the hill side on top which there is the little chapel dedicated to this Virgin in a small vale looking south east.
  • Although Beaujolais is traditionally a red wine region, some limestone-clay plots are ideally suited for growing Chardonnay. The Beaujolais blanc AOC was created in 1937 and has two birthplaces: Villefranche in the Rhône and the canton of La Chapelle de Guinchay in the Saône-et-Loire.
  • The Beaujolais region forms part of the “Grande Bourgogne Viticole”. It starts South of the Mâconnnais. With 100% Gamay grapes, the Beaujolais Villages appellation is situated in the two departments of the Rhône and Saône-et-Loire, and especially around the villages of Blacé, Lancié, Régnié and Lantignié.
  • The appellation “Côte de Brouilly” was first authorised in 1934 with the vineyard owners on the Brouilly hillside concerned that the wine would lose its identity with the recent extension of the “Brouilly” appellation. Côte de Brouilly is considered richer and more structured in style than Brouilly.
  • There is proof that vines have been cultivated in Fleurie since 987. Fleurie has been recognized as an AOC since it was granted its appellation by the INAO on 11 September 1936.
  • The name of Juliénas come from « Jules Caesar ». The vineyard is situated north to Beaujolais vineyard , both at the limit of Gamay area and at the boundary of Chardonnay grape variety area.
  • Morgon is one of the 10 crus of the Beaujolais. The vineyard is situated on hills west of the Saône river, in the heart of the crus in the northern part of the region. The Py hillside, which culminates at 352 meters has the best soil with thin layers of volcanic, schistous rocks rich in manganese and iron.
  • Morgon is one of the 10 crus of the Beaujolais. The vineyard is situated on hills west of the Saone river, in the heart of the crus in the northern part of the region.
  • The Moulin-à-Vent appellation gets its name from an old windmill in the middle of the vineyard, which used to mill grain up until the mid-19th Century.
  • The commune of Saint Amour is situated at the crossroads of granite soils, best for red wines and chalk/limestone soils, best for Chardonnay. The siliceous/clay and the clay coated with rocky, pebbly elements come from granite rocks (Triassic sandstone).
  • The Mâcon-Villages « Vieilles Vignes » is a selection of the best vineyards which are more than 40 years old, on the communes of Clessé, Viré and Igé in the Mâconnais region.
  • Different vineyards allow for a complexity in this wine with dominant clay hillsides giving richness and stonier vineyards on the plateaux giving a fresher style.
