Casa Obsidiana

Overview

Casa Obsidiana represents the shared vision of two families, called to bring their mastery and artistry in the crafts of tequila and terroir, in a place that unites the four elements of matter – earth, air, water, and fire – with the human elements of mastery and artistry. Our tequila begins at the base of el Volcán de Tequila, where obsidian formed hundreds of thousands of years ago is found in abundance, nestled among the volcanic earth that nurtures our estate-grown Blue Weber agave. It is then aged and finished in French and American oak fine wine barrels to impart the nuanced flavor of smooth vanilla from French Oak.
Forged from the elements and transformed by eight generations of tequila mastery, Casa Obsidiana is crafted with the traditional methods that reflect the time, expertise, and artistry worthy of the world’s most beautiful tequila.
