A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Malbec, 9% Petit Verdot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot, the 2018 1 1/2 Acre Red is made from organic and biodynamically grown estate fruit. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it prances out of the glass with gregarious notions of kirsch, warm blackcurrants, red and black plums and rose oil, plus hints of chocolate box, cloves and unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied, rich and opulent, it has a gorgeous velvety texture and just enough freshness supporting the flamboyant fruit, finishing long and perfumed. Just 56 cases were made. -Lisa Perrotti-Brown

The 2018 1 1/2 Acre Red comes from an estate vineyard in Rutherford and is 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Malbec, 9% Petit Verdot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Merlot, all of which was harvested at the same time and co-fermented. Beautiful blue fruits, violets, spring flowers, and sappy herb notes emerge from this medium to full-bodied red, which has good acidity, silky tannins, and outstanding length. Aged in a mix of barrels and amphora, give bottles 2-3 years in the cellar and enjoy over the following 15+.

The 2018 Red Wine 1 1/2 Acre emerges from a parcel of organically farmed vineyards at Raymond. Bold and juicy to the core, the 2018 offers terrific immediacy. Ripe red cherry, plum, leather, cedar and dried flowers build into the creamy finish.
