When you see the Lockwood Pinot Noir in your glass, you will notice its rich, dark color. Opening up in your glass you will smell aromas of black cherry, strawberry jam, cinnamon stick and nutmeg. These same essences are also found in the flavors with the addition of anise and a little toasted oak. It is a very nice balance of fruit and spice. The velvety texture and round mouthfeel lead to a long, smooth finish.
