A smoky, nutty, crowd-pleasing chardonnay, this is warm and creamy with some greenness to the flavors. The soft structure makes it an easy aperitif.

Transparent and rosy, this is a brisk, simple Burgundy with vibrant acidity and exotic spice. The tannins carry more than their fair share of oak, but they would be comforting in the company of a t-bone steak.

Concentrated and velvety, this is a full-bodied pinot with warm, baked cherry flavors. It’s soft and round, ready for braised beef.

Rich, laced with black cherry, bitter chocolate and earth flavors, this red turns firm and lean by the finish. Just a little dry on balance overall.

A deft use of oak adds spice accents to the strawberry and raspberry favors without being heavy-handed. Balanced, this is more chunky than elegant.

Medium red. Slightly reduced aromas of candied raspberry, coffee and menthol accented by peppery herbs and spices. Leanish, slightly raw wine with juicy red berry and spice flavors framed by sound balancing acidity. Offers modest complexity and depth. Peppery herbs dust the finish, which displays subtle fruit and good energy. Not bad.

Opaque purple. Very primary on the nose and palate, offering jammy dark berry flavors and a strong component of peppery spices. Fleshy, nicely focused wine with good closing cut and lingering spiciness. This estate is owned by the Louis Bernard firm.

Light-bodied and creamy, with a candied lemon peel base note to flavors of apricot, tarragon and pickled ginger.

This is a stylish wine for a cocktail sipper or to drink with foods ranging from fried chicken to sushi. It's crisp in coastal acidity and ripe in citrus, melon and tropical fruit flavors. While there's a taste of honey, it finishes dry.
