The 2018 Chateau Buena Vista Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it gives up blackcurrant cordial, stewed plums, and cigar box scents with hints of wild sage and forest floor. Full-bodied, the palate delivers savory-sparked black fruits, supported by chewy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing earthy.

Tarot 2018 is a supple, medium-plus-bodied red blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot with the balance in Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Lovely on the nose with ripe red berry, cherry, dark plum, cassis dried herbs, chocolate and toasty oak spice flavours silky on the palate. Tannins are fine-grained. Enjoy with striploin steaks from the grill. 1/7/22
