Plush in feel, with notes of cassis, cherry preserves, raspberry reduction and anise, framed by a singed alder accent that melds through the finish. A subtle sagebrush hint glides underneath.
LVE Cabernet Sauvignon Reviews

Anise and slate are divided by a luxe blackberry perfume. The flavors mirror the aromas of this dark and shadowy red, which is blanketed in a sensual, early mouthfeel. Notes of violets, boysenberry, and caramelized fig become juicier as the wine opens up, and elegance ensues.

Offers an assertive mix of dark berry, licorice, spice, cedary oak and crushed rock flavors, but what stands out on the finish is the sense of elegance and finesse. Drink now through 2027.

Full, rich, concentrated and chewy with notes of cherry, cassis, black licorice, espresso, cedar and campfire.

Full-bodied, concentrated and chocolatey with a wealth of grippy, light-grained and chalky texture and notes of black currant jam, currant leaf and toasted oak. Long, flavorful finish that is simultaneously juicy and drying. Ready-to-drink but will age nicely for seven years or so.

This is singer/songwriter John Legend's inaugural wine project in conjunction with Raymond Vineyards in the Napa Valley. Combining 85% Cabernet Sauvignon with 15% Petit Verdot, it tells a powerful story in thick layers of blackberry cobbler, chocolate and coffee, the tannin and oak integrated and silky smooth. This is a wine of great presence. – V.B.

Pure, rich and graceful, with a charming core of blackberry, currant and oak, this wows with finesse and refinement, hitting the high and low notes with equal comfort. —J.L.
