N°5 Côtes de Provence Reviews

Score: 90 | July 15, 2019 | Wine & Spirits

Jean-Charles Boisset’s team blends this wine from cinsault, grenache and syrah sourced from vineyards near Montagne St-Victoire. It’s a smooth rosé, with a corn-silk texture and sleek flavors to match. The notes of sage and aloe conjure up a warm, sunny feeling without conferring excess weight.

Excellent, Highly Recommended
The pale pink wine offers very subtle aromas of minerals and citrus. Soft and light in the mouth the flavors include lemon, green apple and just barely ripe strawberries. The clean acidity makes each sip refreshing.

Excellent, Highly Recommended.

The wine is practically incandescent in the glass, with a pale rose color and notes of flowers and citrus on the nose. Integrated fruit flavors create a creamy mouthfeel, with hints of pamplemousse, mango skins, and subtle elderflower. A clean finish with minerality.

An addition to the worldwide JCB brand, produced by the Boisset family of Burgundy, this feels rich and sumptuous, full of ripe red fruits and juicy plums. It is also balanced and well structured. Drink this wine with food. —R.V.
