Les Grandes Mises, Beaujolais Blanc

Les Grandes Mises, Beaujolais Blanc bottle

Parcels of our Beaujolais blanc are situated in the village of Saint-Amour (Rhône) and on the ‘plateau du bois de Loyse’, in the village of La Chapelle de Guinchay near Beaujolais, in Saône-et-Loire. The soils are mainly composed of limestone and clay interspersed with sandy granite veins.

  • Winemaking

The grapes are pressed and musts are settled under controlled temperature. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperature (18-20°C or 65-68°F). The wine is aged for a short time in stainless steel tanks to preserve its minerality, purity of fruit and crisp acidity.

  • Nose

Intense notes of white flowers and light aromas of tropical fruit.

  • Palate

Beautiful minerality and a perfect balance between roundness and acidity.
