The village is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, at an ideal altitude for the grapes and spreads over 370 acres. The "les Jacquines " vineyard is located in the south of the village at the limit of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation. The soils are composed of limestone mixed with clayey marls, and have a certain depth creating quite a powerful style of Vosne-Romanée.
Aged on the lees for 16 months with no racking using a proportion of 30% new French oak barrels that had been toasted at low temperatures for a long time to impart a very delicate touch of oak to the wine.
