The climat of "Côte Rotie” derives its name from its well-exposed vines planted on a south facing slope. This particular topography protects the vines from north and west winds. The soil is made of limestone scree.

Winemaking
Aged for 19 months with no racking or stirring to bring out all of this wine’s minerality. The wine was aged in 30% new French oak barrels which were toasted for an extended period at low temperature to impart a subtle touch of oak.

Mineral and smoky notes, accented by aromas of pear and citrus.

Highly refreshing and concentrated with white fruit and citrus flavors.
