Pouilly and Fuissé are the names of two Mâconnais villages located at the foot of the famous rocks of Solutré and Vergisson. The appellation’s vineyards cover a total area of 2,100 acres, spread across four villages and located on steep little east-southeast-facing bowls at altitudes of 820 to 984 feet.

Winemaking
100% of the wine is cask-matured (very little new wood is used – only 20%) with regular stirring of the lees while the two fermentations – alcoholic and malolactic – take place. This ageing ends after 12 months.

Nose
Highly characterized by notes of exotic fruits and white flowers, indicating excellent ripeness.

Palate
Rich and full of substance, it lines the palate without heaviness, supported by a judicious vivacity.
