Nuits-Saint-Georges “Belle Croix”

Nuits-Saint-Georges “Belle Croix” bottle

Halfway between Dijon and Beaune, and looking east, the vineyard of Nuits-Saint-Georges extends over 6 km for 160 ha in the village appellation. The difference of soils, orientations, and situations causes a great diversity of soils. All cut in two by the valley of Meuzin and the village. The "Belle Croix" plot is located below the "Les Pruliers" Premier Cru, to the south of the village and offers a calcareous brown soil resting on a thick layer of silt. The name of this climate refers to the cross overlooking the parcel, a memory of a 16th century chapel, dismantled during the French Revolution. This parcel is part since the 2016 vintage of our vines in direct supply.

Very fine aromas of red berries, cherry stone and some woody notes.

  • Palate

A digestible wine with a very supple texture, some tannins in the final come to structure it! Fresh red fruits are found on the palate.
