The grapes of this cuvée come exclusively from the plot "Au quartier", located in the village of Couchey, a few hundred yards from the appellation Fixin. This small plot is situated in the middle of a hill, with a full-east exposure.

Ripe, earthy nose with lots of classy berry fruit and blossom nuances. There is real vibrancy here and some seamlessly integrated tannins.

Aged 16 months on the lees without racking off in 40% new oak.

Ripe red fruits, black cherry and some spice notes.

Supple and well-balanced with subtle pepper aromas. Silky tannins.
