Half of the vineyard is classified Grand Cru and no less than 17 climates are classified Premier Cru. We can distinguish two types of Premier Cru: one located on the Pernand- Vergelesses side and the other, on the "Les Valozières", side of the Grands Crus. The sun exposure is perfect on the eastern side, and the soil is complex which gives the wine structure and power.
