Mendocino County is a leader in certified organically-grown grapes. There are 17,000 acres of vineyards in the County, with 25% of them growing certified organic grapes. The grapes for this 2019 Chardonnay were harvested from a selection of certified organic vineyards and the back label proudly displays the CCOF certification of “made with organic grapes”.
A beautiful golden hue, citrus aromas of lychee and mango greet the nose. Green apple, pear and honeysuckle flavors are layered with notes of blanched almonds and accentuate the bright acidity in this beautifully balanced wine with a touch of minerality on the finish.
