Firm and rich on the palate, this red is lightly aromatic, offering notes of lavender, dark berry and crushed rock, with lively acidity and tannins.
  • Winemaking

The wine underwent a 3 day cold soak followed by a 14 day fermentation after which it was left on skins for an additional 5 days. The wine was then aged with a combination of stainless steel and French oak, 15% new.

  • Nose

Opens with bright aromas of strawberry and Bing cherry followed by just hint of violet.

  • Palate

Luscious flavors of raspberry, cardamom spice and a touch of oak culminate with a well-structured and deliciously long finish that sails across the palate.
