The Count’s Selection Pinot Meunier

The Count’s Selection Pinot Meunier bottle

The Vinicultural Society explores clonal selections, varietals and the incredible terroir of Sonoma County. In keeping with the adventurous spirit of Buena Vista's founding, we are proud to bring to you this delicious Pinot Meunier, a varietal not so uncommon in years past, but which has become a bit more difficult to find in modern times.

  • Winemaking

The grapes were handpicked in the early morning to ensure they retained their maximum freshness. The wine was aged for six months in 100% French oak barrels with only 14% of the barrels being new to help retain the luscious fruit flavors.

  • Palate

Showcasing juicy fruits like raspberry and deep flavors of plum, this medium bodied wine has a touch of tobacco on the palate that lends to a medium finish with a velvety touch of tannins.
