1881 Napa Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon

1881 Napa Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon bottle

Our Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon opens with dark aromas of black currant, blueberry and blackberry. This is a full-bodied wine with black tea, black cherry and mocha flavors that coat the palate. Sweet and
well-integrated tannins lead to a lingering finish.
Established in 2011, Coombsville’s weather is moderate by its proximity to the San Pablo Bay south of Napa Valley. During the summer months, daily average temperatures can be as much as 10˚F cooler than in most other AVAs in the Napa Valley and heat spikes here tend to be rarer and less severe. Elevations range from 100 to 1000 feet with the 1528 acres planted to primarily weathered volcanic rock soils.
