We wanted this special Chardonnay cuvée to taste like some of the most famous appellations of the Burgundy region. After pressing the grapes, we decided to vinify the wine in the same way as great Burgundy white wines with ageing on lees and daily «bâtonnage» (lees-stirring).

Chassagne Montrachet is the southernmost village in the Côte de Beaune. This appellation is bordered to the south by Santenay and to the north by Puligny Montrachet, producing both white and red wines.

In accordance to our tradition and values of elegance and quality, the Sauvignon Blanc grapes were selected on specific French vineyards, more specifically in the Languedoc area, in the Loire Valley, and western France. Sauvignon Blanc is a grape that thrives in all types of limestone-based soil. It is just as happy in hard chalk or softer marine sediments known as marls.

A Côte de Beaune appellation which takes its name from the village of Savigny-lès-Beaune and produces almost only red wines (90% of production). The Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation covers 383 hectares, 144 of them being classified as Premier Cru.
