Our Wines

  • 13 grape varieties may be used in the composition of Châteauneuf du Pape. This wine is made with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
  • The typically Mediterranean climate is held in the sway of the Mistral, great and forceful wind born out of variations in atmospheric pressure between Northern and Southern climates.
  • Located near Avignon, at the heart of the Rhone Valley, the fortified stronghold of Bonpas, from the French “Bon passage”, has watched over the safe crossing of the Durance River along the historic route that once linked Rome with Avignon. The estate marks the gateway to the southern Côtes-du-Rhône appellations and opens its gates to the discovery of the region’s terroirs. Its sophisticated, elegant wines embody the terroirs and varietals of this famous region through their power and fruitiness.
  • The vineyard is located in the Southern Rhone Valley on the Plan de Dieu hillside.
  • Gigondas is located less than 10 miles of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, it can be considered as a mini version of the Chateauneuf-du-Pape but in a more rustic vein.
  • The vineyard are mainly within the Parc Regional du Luberon, which is equidistant from Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Manosque. The average altitude of the vineyards is 984 feet above sea-level, and the grapes are harvested relatively late.
  • The Ventoux mountain is home to a large number of rare or endemic plant species, as well as to many kinds of deer and birds of prey. This vitality and profusion of scents and savors is a potent influence on the wide range of AOC Ventoux wines.
